About

I’m Yash Tulsyani, a growth systems architect designing organic discoverability infrastructure for modern SaaS companies. My work sits at the intersection of SEO systems, AI-search visibility, and utility-led acquisition.

Most growth advice is shaped by the channel it was sold through. I’m interested in the underlying system, how discoverability ecosystems behave under AI search, how utility compounds where content decays, and how SaaS companies design infrastructure they own forever. If you want the short version: here’s what I’m working on now.

Personal updates

A chronological log of milestones, launches, and notable moments, kept here because timelines are easier to read than long bios.

Published the B2B SaaS SEO cluster

A pillar and four supporting pieces on buying committees, why low-volume keywords carry the value, and what to build in which quarter.

Aug 2026

Ten free SEO tools live

Schema validation, topical mapping, internal link mapping, entity extraction, snippet previews, and more. All client-side, no signup.

Jul 2026

Rebuilt the site on a build-enforced link architecture

Every post now links up to its cluster pillar, laterally to siblings, and out to a service or tool. The build fails if a page is orphaned.

Jun 2026

Split the writing onto its own domain

yashtulsyani.com became the place for the books, the essays and the reading. Everything commercial stayed here. Same person, two rooms, and neither audience has to scroll past the other.

May 2026

Published a framework for AI-citation surface

A working model for engineering content to be cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity, and the next search layer, chunking, entities, and source signals.

Mar 2026

Shipped the Topical Map Generator

A free utility for SaaS founders to model entity coverage and topical clustering from a single seed term, the first in a series of public tools.

Feb 2026

Started writing publicly on AI-search infrastructure

Began a weekly publishing rhythm on the citation layer, discoverability ecosystems, and how SaaS distribution will be shaped by AI retrieval.

Oct 2025

Launched fullstackdigitalmarketer.com

My digital-marketing brand and portfolio, covering demand generation, SEO, content, and growth for B2B SaaS.

Apr 2025

Began building free SEO utilities

Started shipping small public tools, schema validators, snippet previewers, topical mappers, as a thesis on utility-led acquisition.

Aug 2023

First SEO consulting engagement

Started taking on SaaS SEO retainers, the work that eventually shaped my system-design approach to organic growth.

Career

A condensed timeline of the work that shaped how I think about organic growth. The fuller version lives on LinkedIn ↗.

Head of growth marketing

BetterBugs

Own the organic and AI-search growth system at a developer-tools SaaS.

40L+impressions / mo
2L+organic clicks / mo
ChallengeGrowth leaned on referrals and paid channels, with organic discovery thin and nothing compounding month to month.
ImpactBuilt a utility-led SEO engine of free tools, entity-mapped content, and AI-search visibility, which turned organic into a channel the company owns, now driving 40L+ monthly impressions and 2L+ organic clicks.
Paid, as researchFrom May to December 2025, ran Google paid search deliberately as a research instrument: broad, phrase and exact match in parallel to read real demand, competitor coverage and true CPC, rather than to buy conversions. Paid answers in weeks what organic takes quarters to reveal.
Organic, in parallelRan the SEO programme alongside it rather than after it, feeding the keyword and demand data straight from paid into cluster formation, and cross-checking against SEMrush. Built developer utilities as the link asset, which earned backlinks from 50+ referring domains with AS 50 and above. The paid spend paid for itself twice: once in clicks, once in telling the organic programme where to aim.

QAble

Build topical authority for a software-testing services company.

12xorganic lift
0 → 1topical authority
ChallengeA services company in a crowded QA market with almost no organic footprint and no topical structure to rank against competitors.
ImpactEntity-mapped editorial architecture, internal-linking models, and a content-velocity system lifted organic 12x and built the authority documented in the QAble case study.
WebsiteRebuilt the company website on Next.js, developed with Claude Code, and launched it in June 2026. Moving off the previous stack meant the content architecture and the rendering could finally be designed together rather than fought against each other.
PublishingEstablished a weekly cadence: a written newsletter, a recorded session, and longer thought-leadership pieces on video. Publishing on a schedule is what turns topical authority from a plan into an asset, because the compounding only starts once the cadence is reliable.

How this site was made

A short colophon, for the people who care about how things are built (which, if you’re reading this far, is probably you).

This site is structurally inspired by Adam Durrant’s portfolio ↗, specifically its persistent sidebar, editorial rhythm, and operator-feel composition. I rebuilt the system from scratch in a different visual language to make it my own.

It’s deliberately built on a stack I don’t normally use day-to-day:

  1. WordPress with the Kadence theme as the content platform, chosen for write-anywhere portability rather than developer ergonomics.
  2. Custom HTML blocks for every page section, each block is fully self-contained (HTML + CSS + JS in one file), with prefixed class names to prevent theme conflicts.
  3. Inter as the primary typeface, with JetBrains Mono for keyboard shortcuts and timestamps. Light is default; dark is user-toggled and remembered in localStorage.
  4. No frameworks, no build steps, no bundlers, every interaction is vanilla JavaScript and CSS variables. The whole site loads in under one round-trip on a cold cache.

I chose this constraint partly as a stress test of utility-led SEO principles, partly because I wanted to prove that a calm, premium operator site doesn’t need 14 npm packages and a CDN to feel modern.

If you want to lift the design system or borrow a section, that’s fine, the code isn’t sacred. Just don’t copy the wording, please.
