Which kind of PPC tool you need

PPC management software sits on top of your ad accounts and finds what to change: wasted search terms, budgets running hot or cold, ads and keywords that have stopped working. The tools differ by the ads they cover. Google and Microsoft Ads tools (Optmyzr, Opteo, Adalysis, TrueClicks, Adzooma) audit search and shopping accounts, flag problems and push fixes in bulk. Meta and paid social tools (Madgicx, Birch, AdEspresso) build, test and automate Facebook and Instagram campaigns. Cross-channel platforms (Marin Software, Adpulse, Optmyzr, Birch) bring several ad networks into one dashboard. The ad platforms’ own editors (Google Ads Editor, Microsoft Advertising Editor) are free desktop apps for making bulk changes offline, and many accounts never need more.

Whatever you use, tag every ad link the same way so the results line up in analytics: the UTM builder shows which GA4 channel each link lands in, and the campaign naming convention generator keeps campaign names consistent across accounts. Tools that write ad copy and creative are in the AI marketing software directory.

How PPC software is priced

Most PPC tools charge by the monthly ad spend across the accounts you connect, not by seats, so the price rises as your budget does. Optmyzr starts at $209 a month billed annually for up to $25K of spend, Adalysis at $126 a month billed annually for up to $50k, and TrueClicks is free up to $50K. Opteo also caps accounts on each plan, and Madgicx and Birch price by spend on Meta. Marin Software prices by data sources, from $500 a month. Check where your spend sits in each vendor’s tiers, whether the price is billed monthly or annually, and what happens when a busy month pushes you over the limit.

“From” is the lowest published starting price, as billed on the vendor’s page; see each listing for the billing basis and ad spend tier.

How this directory is built

Every price, plan, free option and trial here was read from the vendor’s own website on the date shown, and each tool links to the exact page it came from. Prices are written as the vendor showed them, in the currency it showed, with how they are billed: monthly, yearly or one-off. Some vendors show prices in a different currency depending on where you are, so check the source before you buy.

There are no ratings, rankings or paid placements, and no affiliate links. Tools are listed A to Z. Where a vendor does not publish a price, the listing says so rather than quoting a third party. Prices are rechecked every quarter; the date on each listing is the last time it was confirmed. If a listing is wrong or out of date, tell me and it will be corrected.
