How it works

Enter a title, meta description, and URL, and the tool renders two things side by side: a search-snippet preview the way a results page would show it, and an AI answer preview the way an assistant might quote and attribute it.

It measures your title and description against desktop and mobile truncation limits, so you can see exactly where text gets cut. Then it scores citation readiness out of 100 on four checks: a title within limits, a description in the useful 70-to-limit range, at least one concrete specific like a number, and an https URL. Anything missing shows up as a fix.

Everything runs locally. Nothing is fetched or sent to a server.

They are practical approximations. Search engines truncate by pixel width, not character count, so treat the meters as a strong guide rather than a hard cutoff. Desktop is roughly 60 characters for titles and 160 for descriptions; mobile is tighter.
A rough sense of how an assistant might quote your page and attribute the source. Assistants pull the most relevant sentence and cite the domain, so a clear opening sentence and a clean URL help. It is illustrative, not a guarantee of how any specific model will cite you.
Specifics. A concrete number, a named entity, or a precise claim in the first sentence gives an assistant something quotable and verifiable. The readiness score rewards that, alongside sensible length and a secure URL.
